This weekend we went raspberry picking at a local farm. While we were picking we found this little guy munching on some leaves.
We have been keeping our eye out for caterpillars, so the kids were really excited when we found this one. We took him home along with a bunch of raspberry leaves and all he did on Saturday and Sunday was eat those leaves. I was getting a little nervous because I was not sure if we brought enough home. Here is a picture of the leaves that are remaining today. It’s not the best picture, but I assure you that there were many, many more leaves.
I have done a Google search to try to figure out what kind of caterpillar this is and what it will turn into. So far, I have not had any luck. If you have any idea of what it could be please leave us a comment. My kids would love to know.
